The U.S. political election 2008 and its effects

On November 4,2008 the 56th presidential election in the United States changed and reformed the country when the nominee Barack Obama U.S. Senator from Illinois became the new President of the United States. He prevented another reelection of the Republican President George W. Bush. It was a quite big setback for the Republican Party. What does Obama alter since then? Health Care, Economic crises and the alterations of the Banksystem - has anything really changed so far?

I totally agree with Mr. Michael Banks from Canada. ( Post no. 527) He said:' If you do not want to have him - we take him'. Nations need a personality with such charism. I like the way he faces failures - at least he is honest ( how honest you can be as a president )and he admits mistakes that had been done.
